Not always. A 100A panel can often power a Level 2 charger when your existing load leaves enough headroom. Our free on-site load calculation tells you for certain whether an upgrade is needed before we install, so you know the full scope before any work starts.
Yes. We help eligible customers apply for the applicable rebate under Québec's Roulez vert program and prepare the documents it requires: the permit number, the inspection report, and a detailed invoice. We cannot promise approval or amounts, but we make sure your paperwork is complete.
Most residential installs take half a day to a full day, depending on the cable run and whether your panel needs work first. We confirm the timeline during the on-site assessment so you know what to expect.
A hardwired connection supports up to 48A continuous, which suits high-end chargers. A NEMA 14-50 plug is limited to 40A continuous by code, but it lets you unplug and take the charger with you if you move. We install both, and we will recommend the right one for your setup.
We install the major Level 2 brands sold in Canada: FLO, Tesla, ChargePoint, and Wallbox. If you do not have a unit yet, we can help you pick one that fits your vehicle and your panel.
Yes. Condo installs need your syndicate's approval and a metering choice, which we help you sort out. Commercial and multi-unit sites need load management and sometimes a dedicated service, and we scope all of that during the assessment.
